What is RRLS
Ruth Rumack’s Learning Space (RRLS) is a fast-growing educational support company for students from kindergarten to university, including those with learning exceptionalities.
We teach students in one-to-one and small group settings and design individualized lesson plans that help students achieve academic and lifelong success. We also work with students who require enrichment and standardized test prep. Lessons are interactive and incorporate kinesthetic learning and other creative teaching methods.

We are seeking full-time Learning Specialists at the Primary/Junior level and the Junior/Intermediate level. Our Learning Specialists teach in various areas including: literacy, math, and homework support.
We are also always happy to meet Intermediate/Senior teachers with more specialized training in math/science and language. Our team grows organically, so if you are the right fit for our team, we will find a space for you and bring you on board!
Please note that this is not an ESL or tutoring position. Typical teachers’ hours are Monday to Thursday and Saturday. Weekday evenings are required.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
OCT certification or equivalent
A fun, warm, and empathetic personality
2+ years experience teaching students with a variety of educational needs
Teachers with Primary/Junior experience encouraged
Excellent command of the English language
Ease integrating assistive technology into lessons
Adaptable, flexible, and motivated attitude
Experience teaching Direct Instruction programs an asset
Experience teaching emergent readers an asset
Experience teaching math up to Grade 8 an asset
Special Education qualifications or experience an asset
Interest in developing student curriculum and programs
