The executive functions are a set of processes that have to do with managing oneself and one’s resources in order to achieve a goal. It is an umbrella term for the neurologically-based skills involving mental control and self-regulation. These functions allow for planning, organizing, and completing tasks.

In this workshop you will have the opportunity to learn more about:

 Understanding what executive functioning looks like at different developmental stages.
 Practical strategies to support your child’s executive functioning skills and the gradual release of responsibilities.
 Working with the school to create a system of support and accountability.
