Shanelle obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto where she majored in English with a double minor in Drama and Film Studies. She moved on to obtain her Bachelor of Education at Queen’s University. She is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers with Primary/Junior qualifications. Before joining RRLS, Shanelle spent three years teaching in Melbourne, Australia as a primary school teacher. She has training in upper-level language and supports both SSAT and ACT language students.
When she’s not at RRLS, you can find Shanelle either at the gym or eating. She loves all types of food and spends a lot of her free time exploring all the great cuisine that Toronto has to offer. She loves watching and playing sports and spent many years playing rugby and football. Shanelle is very goofy and silly and loves to joke around and tries to bring her outgoing nature into all of her sessions.
“Shanelle is a great teacher, but what makes her really special is that she’s really funny.
– Thomas, Grade 6
