I get to show students the fascinating parts of subjects that they would otherwise find disinteresting.

Invested in their progress, process-oriented and concerned with understanding them on an individual level.
What’s your favourite challenge to help students overcome?
Whatever the specific misunderstanding that my student couldn’t identify was. After it has been isolated and resolved, I love to see them approach the same problem again and feel everything click into place.
What’s your favourite way to spend an afternoon?
Reading at a cafe or playing guitar in a park!
