On Tuesday, January 17, 2017 we will be hosting a parent workshop for supporting children and adolescents with ADHD.

Parents, teachers, psychologists, and learning professionals are welcome and encouraged to come join us for our up-to-date information, resources and even some refreshments!

 

Workshop Topics

  • What is ADHD?
  • An outline of the current best practices in ADHD assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and supportive interventions
  • Important secondary issues to monitor
  • Discussion of strategies for parents, including how to promote independence, when to take a collaborative approach, the power of empathy, at-home ideas, as well as tips for advocating for your child and navigating the school system

 

Guest Speaker

We will also be featuring a guest from the Springboard clinic, who specializes in ADHD. We’ve had a great relationship with the Springboard clinic for many years and always look forward to sharing information with one another.

 

Cost

All workshops are free for current RRLS clients and our students’ classroom teachers.
Workshops are open to the public for a registration fee of $25/person.
